In Vilnius you can record a podcast for €35 or for €400, and both prices can be right. The difference is not the studio but what is included: sometimes you rent only the room, sometimes you get an operator, cameras and an edited episode. In this guide, we have gathered the official prices of Vilnius studios and explain how to compare them.

First question: a room or a full service?
Vilnius studios fall into two groups. Some rent out a room with equipment, and you film, look after the sound and edit yourself or with your own people. Others sell the end result: an operator works throughout the recording, and a few days later you get an edited episode.
If you have your own camera operator and editor, renting a room will be cheaper. If you do not, you will need to add filming and editing to the hourly rental price, and then the difference often disappears.

Prices were checked on 25 September 2026 on the official websites of the studios (links at the end of this guide). Studios change their prices, so check again before booking. Podkastai.com (S. Konarskio g. 49) does not publish its prices.
How to compare prices
- Compare the whole episode, not the hour. You can only compare €50 per hour with €400 for a package once you add filming, editing and short videos.
- Check the duration. It varies between packages: 1 hour, 2 hours or 2.5 hours.
- Ask about VAT. Some studios list prices without VAT, others with it.
- Count the cameras and microphones. A conversation with a guest needs at least two cameras and a separate microphone for each person.
- Find out who does the editing, how long it takes and how many revisions are included in the price.
- Ask whether you will also get the raw footage, not only the final video.
What to check at the studio itself
- Whether you can hear the street and the neighbours. Soundproofing matters more than the microphone model.
- Whether the lighting and set can be changed to suit your show.
- Where to park, and whether the access works for someone with reduced mobility.
- Whether there is a place to get ready and change before going on camera.
- Whether you can stream live if you need to.
