A live stream has no second take. That is why it is prepared differently from a recording: everything is checked in advance, and an operator works beside you for the whole broadcast. In this guide, we explain how a live stream from the studio works, what to prepare and what it costs.
Live stream or recording
A live stream makes sense when taking part in real time matters: questions from viewers, a presentation, an event or an internal company meeting. If you do not need that, an edited recording usually looks better, because mistakes can be cut out.
Where we stream
We stream to YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn and Microsoft Teams. Other platforms by agreement.
What to prepare in advance
- Access to the platform, if the stream goes out through your account.
- The title, description and image viewers will see before the start.
- A script with timings: the opening, topics, questions from viewers and the close.
- Who will read the viewer questions and pass them to the host.
- Slides or graphics, if you will show any: showing them is arranged separately.
How it works in the studio
The studio and setting it up for the broadcast are included in the price, as is all the video and audio equipment. The operator works throughout the broadcast, and up to four participants fit at the table. After the stream, we hand the recording over to you.
